In experienced hands
– We found Gammelbys following a recommendation from Microsoft. We had another agency at the time, but they didn’t know the market and had trouble hitting the right tone of voice – but we don’t have that problem at all with Gammelbys. Here, we have felt from day 1 that we were in experienced hands, says Søren Meldgaard, sales manager at ComputerCamp.
New accounting law, new knowledge, new customers
Part of the marketing for ComputerCamp is also about being generous with your knowledge and showing that ComputerCamp understands the associations’ everyday life.
We started by publishing a blog post and shared it on ComputerCamp’s LinkedIn page and newsletter, and the results were fast: “It has brought a lot of traffic, a lot of contacts and also a lot of sales to both new and existing customers, so it was just really effective,” says Søren Meldgaard.
Presence and sympathy with good employee portraits
At the same time, we have also produced a number of employee portraits for use on ComputerCamp’s LinkedIn page. The portraits are published on ComputerCamp’s website and are also used as LinkedIn posts, all of which have a high response rate.
“We had probably been quite so salesy in our communication, and it became a little too selfcentered. So we thought we’d show off in a slightly different way, and it just works so well. It makes the customers feel that there are real people on the other end of the phone connection, and we also get to put the spotlight on our core competencies in an easy and pleasant way,” says Søren Meldgaard. He also sees opportunities in using the portraits in tendering: “We often have to deliver CVs of the key employees in a major IT delivery, and here we think that our employee portraits are a good and different way of delivering it – we can just as well as use the material we get to develop in as many places as possible.”
Søren Meldgaard concludes as follows. “The great thing about working with Gammelbys is that I can just call with an idea and explain it. They grab it right away and then a really good product comes out of it. That process is incredibly valuable to me.”
